Lambing advice at your fingertips

At the end of the 2016/17 lambing season, we asked you to share your experiences with us. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our survey - it was great to hear so many positive stories and to gain insight to the challenges you face.

Feedback from the lambing survey

Your feedback is hugely important to us and helps us to shape the advice, information and support that we offer. The majority of our survey respondents would like to see our blogs all year round and are interested in any topical flock management advice. With this in mind we have made some key changes to our website which we hope will allow us to provide all the key information and advice to face the challenges ahead and make next lambing season your most successful yet!

Lambing advice

We have now set up a new ‘lambing advice’ area on our website. In this section you will find advice, top tips and information on a wide range of topics, including:

  • Ewe and Ram Management
  • Health and Hygiene
  • Housing
  • Nutrition
  • Preparing for Lambing
  • Surplus Lambs
  • Weaning

We know how busy lambing season is and hope that this dedicated area of our website will provide you with all the information that you need to rear strong, healthy lambs. If you don’t have time to read through all our articles, we provide lots of handy, short videos to ensure you are prepared for lambing.
